Beloved mother and nanny, Nancy Brown Sacre, 90 of Aroda, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Mt. View Nursing Home. She was born on October 7, 1931 to the late Warrick Douglas Brown and Susan Jane McCauley Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Sacre; brothers, Henry, Marshall, Herbert, and Tommy Brown; and sister, Pauline Herring.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Lee Sacre, Sr and wife Pamela.; brother, Richard Brown and wife Carolyn; sisters, Margaret Rogers and Susan Cox and husband Randy; grandchildren, Angela C. Gibson, Ronald “Bubby” Lee Sacre, Jr., Joseph M. Sacre and wife Cassie, Jessica M. Jenkins and husband Richard; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin S. Frazier, Kyle M. Sacre, Haley Jo Sacre, Charles Jenkins, III; step-granddaughter, Ashlyn Ryder;  four great-great-grandchildren; and many loved nieces and nephews and special brother-in-law, Frank Sacre.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Daystar Worship Center in Gordonsville, Va. conducted by Pastor Eddie Deane. Interment will be in Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Charlottesville, Va. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. After the graveside service, the family will have a time of food and fellowship at the church.
