Isaac Godfrey Woodson, Jr. July 24, 2024
Isaac Godfrey Woodson Jr., 53, of Waynesboro, Virginia, was called to his eternal rest on July 24, 2024. He was born to the late Charlotte Green Woodson and Isaac Woodson Sr. on February 26, 1971, in Warrenton, Virginia. A patriot at heart, Isaac honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army after enlisting on August 4, 1989.
A graduate of Fauquier High School, Isaac was known for his keen interest in current events and his extensive collection of G.I. Joe memorabilia. His fervor for history and the intricacies of law showcased his unquenchable thirst for knowledge.
The legacy of Isaac's kind spirit, passion for life, and undying love for his family will be cherished by his progeny. He is survived by his children, Latoria, Aikira, Darren, Jesse Woodson, and Anyla Crawford; his adored grandchildren, Grayson and Zy'mere Woodson; his devoted father, Isaac Woodson Sr.; and his loving sister, Katina Thomas (James). Isaac now joins in peace his late wife, Bonita Russell Woodson, and his mother, Charlotte.
The Woodson family will welcome friends for visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 am, followed with a service at 10:30 am on the 2nd of August, 2024, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel, Madison, Virginia. The interment will follow Culpeper National Cemetery. The family extends an invitation to all who knew Isaac to join in honoring his memory. The Preddy Funeral Home Chapel is providing comfort to the family in this time of sorrow.
