Lowell Davis Gallihugh 86 of Madison passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at her residence. She was born September 3, 1936 in Charlottesville, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Jack Frost Davis and Willie Estelle Backe Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Wilson Gallihugh, brother Jack F. Davis Jr. and sisters, Mary Anna Davis Sacra Yowell and Thelma A. Davis West.

Mrs. Gallihugh was a former employee of Madison County School System and retired from the Madison County Commissioners Office.

She is survived by nieces, Nancy S. Weakley of Madison and Ann Yowell Stevens of Madison; nephews, Buck Sacra and wife Barbara of Pratts and Robert H. Sacra of Madison; God children, Mary Paige Covington (John) of Orange, Timothy Garth (Tina) of Sagamore Hills,Ohio and Stephanie Hope of Charlottesville.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 am Monday, April 3, 2023 at Bethsaida United Methodist Church conducted by Rev Miles Van Skye.
