Lonnie Roger Taylor, Sr., 75, of Stanardsville, Va. passed away on Monday, July 13, 2021 at Accordius Health of Greene. He was born on October 24, 1945 to the late James Welford Taylor and Mable Jarrell Taylor. He was preceded in death by three brothers, James E. Taylor, Douglas E. Taylor, and Willie B. Taylor; and sister, Joy May McDaniel.

He is survived by his son, Lonnie Roger Taylor, Jr.; sisters, Florence Lamb; grandchild, Ashley Elizabeth Taylor; two great-granddaughters, Hailey Lynn Taylor and Cassidy Elizabeth Carpenter.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison conducted by Pastor Jeff Shifflett. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
