Lena Catherine Nisly, 92, of Aroda, went to Heaven to be with her Lord on March 14, 2023. She was born on October 7, 1930 to the late Moses M. Schrock and Elizabeth Amstutz Schrock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Perry D. Nisly.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha Miller and husband David of Iowa, Mary Ruth Kipps and husband David of Aroda, and Dorothy Nisly of Aroda; sons, Kenneth Nisly and wife Priscilla of Indiana and Timothy Nisly and wife Loretta of Aroda; brothers Enos Schrock and Leroy (Junior) Schrock; sisters, Mary Yoder, Lydia Kanagy, Anna Mae Detweiler, and Ruth Schrock; seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Oak Grove Mennonite Church at Aroda with Pastor Lamar Hochstetler conducting the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 17, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church.
