On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, James Dennis Creel (“Dennis”) of Radiant, Virginia, left this earthly world to be in Heaven.

Dennis was born June 24, 1960 in Culpeper, Virginia, to the late Milton Fisher Creel and Patricia Mae Wince Creel. He graduated from Culpeper High School. He worked at Culpeper Wood Preservers for over 22 years, was an automotive salesman and an insurance salesman.

Dennis and his significant other, Barbara Robinson, have spent the last 22 years in a loving and peaceful relationship. Dennis loved to cook and is known for making the most delicious foods. He also loved adventure, in which he and Barbara traveled to numerous states across the US, as well as visited Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas. He was always fun loving, had a good sense of humor, was loving, and had a kind heart.

Dennis is survived by Barbara Robinson and her children and grandchildren, and his loving brother, John Randolph (Monica) Creel, numerous nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Beth Car Baptist Church in Madison, Virginia, with food being served in the Church’s Fellowship Hall following the service.
