John Luther Lanham, 84, of Rhoadesville, VA , passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at his home. He was born on August 19, 1939, in Manassas and was the son of the late Luther Thomas Lanham and Ada Thelma Putnam Lanham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Beard Lanham, and son, John Michael Lanham.

Mr. Lanham is survived by his daughter Carol Faulk (Terry), grandchildren; Kristy Edwards (Jeremy), Brad Faulk (Amanda), John Michael Lanham (Jennifer), Kenneth Lanham (Megan), Matthew Lanham (Shelby), great-grandchildren; Bailey Faulk, Caleb Faulk, Emma Lanham, Jacob Lanham, Lachlan Lanham, Adriana Lanham, Nevaeh Terrel, Haley Lanham, Devin Lanham,  partner; Nova Rutherford and special friends; Donna Underwood, Matthew Underwood, Justin Underwood, Sherry Langford, Colton Edwards, Jackson Edwards, and Mia Edwards.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Rhoadesville Baptist Church with interment to follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA at 2:00 PM. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family with arrangements.
