Hazel Virginia (Jean) Whitbeck, 90 of Madison, Va., passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 1, 1932 to the late Robley Evans Anderson and Fannie Lillian Anderson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Anderson and Charles Anderson; sister, Dorothy A. Shifflett.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Samuel Whitbeck, Jr.; brother, Wayne Anderson; nephews, Jeff Shifflett, Mike (Z) Anderson, Gary Anderson; and niece, Pam S. Morris.
The family wishes to thank all the family and friends who helped care for Jean during this time.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, Va. conducted by Rev. Jim Blackwell. Interment will be in Rose Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
