Clifford Carson Brown, 73 of Radiant, Va. passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 in Orange, Va. He was born on February 8, 1949 to the late Linwood and Sadie Frye.
He was a building contractor and a U. S. Army Vietnam veteran and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Elk Run Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorren Street Brown; son, Andrew Scott Brown; brothers, William L. Frye (Eleanor), Johnny Hodge (Deborah), Stanley Hodge (Pamela), James Garnett (Diane), Larry Garnett, Aaron Garnett, Jr.; sister, Nancy Garnett Williams (Paul); and brothers-in-law, Fredrick Nunley (Charlene) and Lin Carpenter.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with Pastor Johnny Hodge officiating. Interment will be in Rock Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
