Arthur Ernest Peugh, Sr., of Culpeper, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1962 to the late Stanley Gribble Peugh and Clister Belle Williams Peugh. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Connie Ann Peugh; son, Ricky L. Shugars; brother, Albert E. Peugh; and sister, Clister Belle Walker.
He is survived by his sons, Arthur Ernest Peugh, Jr., David W. Shugars and wife Erin; daughter-in-law, Nikki Shugars; brothers, Lloyd L. Peugh and wife Joyce and Danny L. Peugh and wife Pamela; sister, Diana P. Masters and husband Barry; grandchildren, Destiny Fox, Cambria Grogg, Colin Shugars, and Cassidy Shugars; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison, Va. with interment in the Madison Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
