Gary Dwayne Williams, born on December 6, 1970, in Charlottesville, Virginia, peacefully passed away on his 54th birthday, December 6, 2024, in Madison, Virginia. He was the cherished son of Beverly "Bev" Williams and Ann Williams, and the couple's only child. He is survived by his daughter, Brianna Williams, who was a significant source of joy in his life.
As a contractor, Gary was known for his attention to detail and creative approach, which enabled him to successfully complete numerous projects. His colleagues respected his dedication and expertise. Beyond his professional endeavors, Gary embraced life with enthusiasm, particularly enjoying Harley Davidson motorcycles, which offered him a sense of freedom and community. Gary was a passionate and loyal Dallas Cowboy fan as well as an enthusiastic supporter of Dale Earnhardt and sports in general, he relished the excitement of competition and the bonds it created.
Gary will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. His genuine warmth and sincerity enriched both his professional and personal relationships. May his memory provide solace to all who knew him, serving as a reminder of the joy and compassion he shared with the world.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison, Virginia with Pastor Chris Cook officiating. A visitation will be one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
