Forrest Richard Ross, 79 of Haywood, passed away Friday, July 30th, 2021 at his home. He

was born February 3rd, 1942 in Warrenton, Va. and was the son of the late Winfield Schley and

Virginia Ray Ross.

Forrest was a skilled craftsman who also loved spending time with his family. He

was the founder of F.R. Ross Construction.

 He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Ross; daughter Cindy Miller and her

husband Eric, grandchildren Christopher, Colby, Kayla, and their spouses, and eleven great-

grandchildren.

A private memorial service was held on Monday, August 2nd, 2021. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
