Stella Mae Murdock, 96 of Gordonsville died Monday August 2, 2021 at the University of Virginia Hospital. Born March 4, 1925 in MacAlpin, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Troy Wring and Delta Goodman. She was the wife of the late George A. Murdock and she was also preceded in death by a son, Darrell Dean Murdock and two sisters, Lidia and Martha.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara E. Vest and husband Howard of West Virginia, Brenda Joyce Ornduff and husband Bill of Louisa, Debra G. Hamm and husband Arvel of Gordonsville, two sons, Okey R. Mills and wife Debbie of North Port, FL, Arnold Murdock and wife Cheryl of Wytheville, a daughter-in-law, Sarah Murdock of Graham, NC and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She leaves behind a legacy of caring and love and she will never be forgotten.

Funeral services will be private.
