Edward Lee Napier, 80, of Culpeper, VA, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 26, 2023, while residing at The Culpeper. He was born in Charlottesville in 1943, to the late Everette W. Napier and Flora Seay Napier. Ed was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Hobart Napier of Culpeper; daughter Angela Napier Rothwell and husband, Stacy, of Richmond; son Edward Scott Napier and wife, Joyce, of Madison; brother Kenneth A. Napier and wife, Brenda, of Columbus, GA; grandchildren Andrew, Kelsey, and Zachary Rothwell and niece and nephew Pamela and Christopher Napier.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. All will be held at Preddy Funeral Home, Orange, VA. The interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation (for Parkinson’s disease research) or Hospice of the Piedmont.
