Edsel Shawn Hetrick, 61, of Madison, Va passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his residence. He was born on November 12, 1960 in Morgantown, WV to the late Arvin and Rosena Hetrick. 
He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Hetrick Flint and her husband, Jason Flint; two granddaughters, Chloe and Teyla; ex-wife, Jackie Hetrick; sisters, Rhonda Burnett and Sandra Preston; brother, Chuck Hetrick; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Vernon Hetrick. 
He will be remembered for his love of fishing, his enthusiasm for sports, love for all animals, and his kind and caring heart.
 
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
