David Wayne Donald               July 15, 2023

David Wayne Donald 77 of Hood, Va. passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023 in Culpeper. He was born October 27, 1945 in Culpeper and was the son of the late William Winfrey Donald and Viola Florence Donald. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Penny Laine Donald and two brothers, James and Gene Donald.

David was a former welder for VDOT and a U.S. Army veteran and served two tours in Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Marie Donald; daughter, Deborah Jean Utz; son, Marc Donald; step son, Mike Watts and wife Cyndy; brothers, Roger Donald and wife, Ann, and Bill Donald; grandchildren, David W. Donald, Grace Donald, Taylor Utz, Rachel Utz and Madison Jenkins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home in Madison is assisting the family.
