John Michael “Mike” Beasley 67 of Gordonsville passed away July 13, 2022 at his home. He was born November 23, 1954 in Stuart, Va. and was the son of the late William Elber Beasley and Ruth Palmer Beasley and also preceded in death by his brother, James Harold Beasley. 

Mike was a member and deacon of the Gordonsville Baptist Church, owner and operator of the Gordonsville Texaco, former manager of Liberty Fabrics and retired from MPS. He was active member for over 52 years

of the Gordonsville Volunteer Fire Company, serving as Treasurer and former Chief and President. 

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Colvin Beasley; daughter, Dixie Lynn Charette and husband Mark

of Gordonsville; sister, Rebecca Raines of Stuart, Va.; grandchildren, Mackenzie R. Dingus and Bailey L. Dingus; special niece Bridgette Beasley Williams and her family; step-mother, Clara Beasley and her family. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Gordonsville Baptist Church

with interment in Maplewood Cemetery conducted by Rev. Wayne Collis and Rev.

Carmon Hartsfield.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday,

July 15, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
