Charles “Buddy” Davis, 84 of Barboursville passed away on Monday August 23, 2021 in Charlottesville. Born August 2, 1937 in Charlottesville he was the son of the late Thomas Wilson Davis and Gladys Hawkins Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife Katherine Carey Davis and a daughter, Lisa Davis. Mr. Davis was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Barboursville.

He is survived his son, Rodney Davis, a grandson Rodney Davis, Jr., three brothers, Walker Davis, Major Davis, Nelson Davis, a sister, Janice Barbour and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 28, 2021 at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church with Pastor James Louderback officiating.
