Austin was born on November 22, 1992 in Charlottesville, Va. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Paige Carpenter, his sister Claire Allen, his brother Collin Carpenter, and his Papa, Robert “Bobby Lee” Johnson. Austin is also survived by his uncle Jim Weaver, cousins Brad and Hunter Weaver, his aunt Debbie Carpenter and husband James Fazio, cousins Jessie DiMeglio and Sarah Boyd, uncle William Carpenter and uncle Tim Carpenter.

Austin was preceded in death by his grandmothers Phyllis Waugh Johnson and Evelyn Deane Carpenter, his grandfather Sanford Rea Carpenter, his aunt Karen Johnson Weaver and his beloved dog, Lunchbox.

 Austin graduated from Louisa County High School in 2011 and was a graduate of James Madison University. He was a successful business man who partnered with groups such as The Pawerful Rescue and other charitable organizations to help animals and people in need. 

In lieu of flowers, Austin’s family asks that memorial contributions be made to a charitable organization of your choice. They ask that you remember all of the times Austin made you smile and laugh. 

 A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa, Virginia.
