Born on September 17, 1987, she was the daughter of Rachel Lantz of Penn Laird, Virginia and Kevin Bowman of Palmyra, Virginia.

Lauren is preceded in death by her beloved “Honey Girl”, her maternal Grandmother, Doreen Stahl of Barboursville. 

Lauren is survived by her son Christopher Bowman of Palmyra, her siblings Kristin Bowman of Harrisonburg, Ashtin and Shane Bowman of Palmyra, her Aunt Janice Kerns of Barboursville, her paternal Grandmother, Jean Jones of Palmyra, her Stepmom Donna Bowman of Palmyra along with numerous cousins. 

Lauren loved all animals. She had the ability to attract any animal to her and it was as if they spoke a secret language. Her love of music helped her in some of her darkest days and it seemed to speak directly to her soul. She loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. Her favorite song was Silent Night. I Love Lucy was one of her all-time favorite shows. Many hours were spent sharing “Lucy clips” and giggling about the misadventures played out on screen. Lauren had a giving heart. She would help and or give to someone in need, even if it took her last bite of food. We will miss you so very much and pray that you have peace that eluded you for so long in this world. 

A private service will be held for Lauren by her immediate family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
