Born on July 14, 1983, she was the daughter of Sue & Jackie Dean, and Susan May.

Althea was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Bryant Sr., her dad Hershel Asher, her beloved grandmother Frances Riner, and grandfather David May. 

Momma was a woman of many adventures. She was a CNA, waitress, and manager at retail stores. She loved spending time with friends, her daughters who she loved immensely, and her precious dog Bella Mae.

In addition to her parents, Althea is survived by her daughters, Alyssa and Kaylee Johnson; her sisters, Amanda Asher and Taylor Overdorff; her brothers, Cory Overdorff and Logan Overdorff. And numerous relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville, Virginia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville, Virginia.
