Addie Lindsay Henderson, 104, of Sumac Lane, Orange, died on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at her grandson’s residence. Born August 5, 1918 in Rapidan she was the daughter of the late David Lindsay and Lillie Clark Lindsay. She is also predeceased by her husband Alvin Henderson; two sons Allen Lindsay Sr, and Charles Lindsay Sr; three brothers Freddie, Lloyd, and Matthew Lindsay; and five sisters Alice Dean, Rose Cox, Hattie Washington, Mable Owens, and Elizabeth Essex.

Addie is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with interment in the Culpeper National Cemetery. Rev. Willie Crenshaw will officiate. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
