Windell Lee Mullins, 74 of Culpeper, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the University of Virginia Hospital. He was born on May 16, 1947 to the late Tennie and Marie Mullins. He is also preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Valdez.

He retired from Giant Foods in Charlottesville and was employed at Madison Ford.

He is survived by his wife, Beanie Mullins; daughters, Shelia A. Mullins of Orange, Melissa M. Valdez VanMeter and husband Nicholas of Grimes, Iowa, Tammy D. Burton of Culpeper, and Brittany Mullins Hoffman and husband Jonathan of Orange, Va.; five brothers, Quintin Mullins (Mary) of Aroda, Jerry Mullins, Sr. of Spotsylvania; Danny Mullins (Susan) of Buckingham, Rodney Mullins (Patty) of Madison, and Tonie Mullins (Delorace) of Culpeper; sister, Rita Heath (Greg) of Appomattox; grandchildren, Nicole Mullins, Monique Newman (Kailyn), Derek Valdez (Amanda), Angelina Valdez, Rachel VanMeter, Madison VanMeter, Megan Burton, Buggy Burton (Anissa), Katie Beall (Allen), Hailee Mahieu & Kayden Hoffman. Eleven (11) great grandchildren & a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 18, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with interment in Culpeper National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the funeral home.
