William Franklin Pierce III April 3, 2025
William Franklin “Bo” or “Billy” Pierce III, 60, of Brick Church Road, Orange, died on Thursday, April 3, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1965, in Culpeper and was the son of the late William Franklin Pierce Jr. Billy owned and operated Pierce Heating and Cooling. He was also predeceased by his step-father, Michael Carpenter.
He is survived by his mother Linda Atkins Carpenter of Orange; his wife Temple Kay Pierce of Orange; a brother Stacy Carpenter of Orange; a step daughter Kimberly Jones and husband James of Nokesville; two step sons Robert Snead and wife Allyson of King William and Justin Snead and wife Jessee of Mechanicsville; two stepgrandchildren, Travis Jones and Rocky Snead, a nephew Michael Carpenter; and an uncle Charles Pierce of Orange; and an aunt Mary Katherine Durrer and husband Joe of Roanoke; and five cousins Chuck Pierce and wife Susan, Chris Pierce and wife Rhonda , Kathy Anderson, Susan Durrer- Lee, and Amy Martin.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the North Pamunkey Baptist Church Cemetery in Orange. Pastor Timmy Jarrell will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, Va. 22960. Memorial contributions may be made to the North Pamunkey Baptist Church, 15109 Pamunkey Lane, Orange, Va. 22960 or the charity of your choice.
