Virginia Ellen Dodson, 92 of Madison, passed away on November 19, 2022 at Martha Jefferson Hospital. She was born on August 7, 1930 to the late Robert Lee Sisk and Emma Sisk. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Erser Robert Dodson; daughter, Rebecca Catherine Dodson; son, Douglas Dodson; brothers, Bill Sisk and Bobby Sisk; sisters, Doris Fincham, Helen Hitt, and Adelie Palmer.

Virginia ran the Dodson’s Fruit Stand for 30 years.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Steve Dodson, Ernest Daniel Dodson, Erser Lloyd Dodson; brother, Ivan Sisk; and sister, Peggy Thorpe.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Etlan Cemetery with Pastor Josh Shifflett officiating.

Preddy Funeral Home in Madison is in charge of arrangements.
