Doris Mabel Deane, 92 of Stanardsville, Va. entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Mt. View Nursing Home in Aroda, Va. She was born on October 20, 1930 to the late James Walker Lam and Addie Roach Lam. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edwin “Buzzy” Deane; son Larry Nelson Deane; daughter, Jennifer Kay; brothers, Jack Oliver Lam and James Minor Lam; and great-grandson, Kyle Peters.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Deane and wife Connie of Staunton, Va., Philip Deane and wife Deidra of Pensacola, Fl., and Eddie Deane and wife Tina of Stanardsville, Va.; sister, Maebelle Morris and husband Elwood; grandchildren, Jennifer Nagy, Brian Deane, Shavona Golden, Colton Deane, Jordan Deane and Carmen Greene; great-grandchildren, Seth Peters, Zoie Deane, Emery Deane, Grayson Deane, Lexton Golden, Brailyn and Brody Green; great-great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Jayden Peters.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 28, 2022 at First Bible Baptist Church, Ruckersville, Va.   Interment will be in Lydia Pentecostal Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the church.
