Kenneth Edward Turpin, 81 of Gordonsville, died Wednesday August 4, 2021. Born April 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Robert Edward Turpin and Addie Virginia Cup. He is also preceded in death by two daughters, Virginia Michek, SaTina Muray, a brother, Rocky Turpin and a sister, Barbara Henderson. Mr. Turpin worked as a police officer for many years in Louisa, Mineral and Gordonsville.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Payne Turpin, four daughters, Savannah T. Lockwood and husband Robert of Gordonsville, Ashley T. McCabe and husband Matthew of Broken Arrow, OK, DeNita Damron of Hampton Roads, Kimberly Harris of Bumpass, one son, Kenneth E. Turpin, II and wife Rachel of Newport News, a sister, JoAnn Stickles of Smithfield and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
