Born on June 24, 1931, he was the son of the late Deverly Douglas Williams and Annie Alice Williams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Marsh Williams; his brothers, Edgar H. Williams, Buford D. Williams, Edward H. Williams, and James W. Williams; and his sisters, Jane Dawson and Martha Anne Bentley.
Tom served for 20 years in the US Army, served in in Korea and Vietnam. He was a former postal worker and retired from Liberty Fabrics in Gordonsville, Va.
Tom is survived by his stepdaughters Carolyn Jean Hodge of Fredericksburg, Va., and Glenda Darlene Clore of Madison, Va.; his step-son Larry “Moe” Franklin Wilson and wife Jennifer of Culpeper, Va.; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; a 20 year companion, Louise Rogers.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, at Maplewood cemetery in Gordonsville, Virginia.
