Robin L. Moon April 22, 2025
Robin L. Moon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. She was 67 years young.
Born on December 2, 1957, in Louisa, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Normal Whitelaw Lloyd, Sr. and Mary Webb Lloyd. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Normal W. Lloyd Jr.; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Lohr; and her brother-in-law Roger Moon, Sr. She loved all of them dearly.
Robin was known for her unwavering and unconditional love for her family. After graduating from Orange County High School, she married her middle school sweetheart, Walter Moon. Robin was incredibly dedicated to her work at State Farm, working there for 43 years. In addition to her work, Robin was a leader at her church, Blue Run Baptist Church, serving in many ways, from her women’s group to leading Bible Schools. Robin was committed to everything she did, and did it with pure love and joy.
Robin is survived by her husband of 48 years, Walter Moon; her daughter, April Moon; close family friend, Tony Pendleton; her sister, Ann Dabney; her sister-in-law, Anna Stanley; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Robin’s memory to Blue Run Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on May 3, 2025, at Blue Run Baptist Church, 13267 Blue Ridge Tpke, Somerset, VA, 22972.
