Robert “Bruddy” Wesley Taylor, 60, of Fluvanna county, entered eternal rest on March 13th, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born July 20th, 1962 in Front Royal, Virginia to Ruth Fraizer and Wesley Taylor both of whom preceded him in death.
Bruddy was a man who never met a stranger a day in his life. He was a kind and thoughtful soul who will be missed dearly by all the lives he touched. His family wishes he is driving his dream truck through the gates of heaven with his big smile on his face.
Driving was a passion of his and it was something he had the privilege of doing for a living. Working on cars was a hobby he enjoyed, as well as telling stories about his time on the road and spending time with his family. He was a lover of western movies, racing, and football and westerns, who faithfully watched his games and races every weekend.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ruth Fraizer and Wesley Taylor Jr., maternal grandparents Robert and Margaret Tharpe, paternal grandparents Mary “Granny” and Wesley Taylor Sr. Along with his niece Emily “Em” Viña.
Bruddy is survived in life by his step dad Lynwood Frazier of Front Royal. His long time partner Guille Alvarado and his sons, Eduardo Alvarado and Felipe Hernandez. Also surviving are sisters , Robin Hicks and husband James" Pee Wee", Vicki Crafton and husband Joey, all of Front Royal and his special sister and caregiver Ronda Miranda whom he always had a close and unbreakable bond with and her husband Santos of Troy, and brother, Ricky Alan of Martinsburg. Nephews Duane Taylor and wife Candy of Luray, Jeremy Taylor and wife Tammy of Scottsville , and Arold “Boo” Smith of Front Royal. Nieces Kristin Hajduk and husband Mark, and Chasity Taylor and her partner Curtis Ray of Front Royal and Corissa Miranda and her partner Jordan of Troy.
A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 from 2pm to 6pm at Sunrise Park Community Center : 1412 Carlton Ave. Charlottesville, Virginia 22902
Arrangements are being handled by Preddy’s Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
