Michael Theodore Malson                         December 21, 2024

Michael Theodore Malson, 68, of Maudes Lane, Barboursville, died on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. He was born on March 19, 1956, in Philadelphia, PA., and was the son of the late Earl Malson and Maude Scott Malson. He was also predeceased by his daughter Shannon Malson; and two brothers Bryon Malson and Earl Malson.

Michael is survived by his wife Loretta Washington Malson of Barboursville; five daughters Joan Marie Questell Melendez, Michelle Deshield, Samantha Malson, Serna Malson, and Beyonce Malson; a stepdaughter Sharonda Washington; two sons Michael Malson and Myron Malson; several grandchildren; and sister Carolyn Hargove.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12 Noon at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with a private interment. Rev. Robert Anthony will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 Noon at the funeral home before the funeral service. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
