It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey N. Dodson, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend.
Jeffrey N. Dodson, 57, of Orange VA, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2024. Beloved and faithful husband of Lori C. Dodson for 33 years, and devoted father to Ryan Dodson and Maegan Dodson. Jeffrey N. Dodson was known for his unwavering commitment to his family, and his tenacious work ethic. He spent his career working 38 years for the Town of Orange, where he served as Director of Public Works for 21 years, before retiring in 2023. Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Lori, and their children Ryan Dodson and wife Leah and Maegan Dodson.
Born in Charlottesville VA to James Nelson and Doris Dodson. Jeff is preceded in death by his father James Nelson Dodson. Jeff is survived by his beloved wife Lori, son Ryan Dodson and wife Leah, and daughter Maegan Dodson and mother Doris Dodson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with interment to be held at the Graham Cemetery Orange. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Home, Orange. Max Griener will officiate.
