Margaret Mary (Margie) Stanton, 60, of Gordonsville Virginia, formally of Bristol Pennsylvania, surrounded by her family, peacefully departed this world on Monday May 1, 2023 for her eternal vacation on the banks of Jordan with her Lord and Savior.
Margie was born July 28th, 1962, the youngest of three children born to William E and the late Elva Wood of Bristol, Pa. Margie was blessed to be raised in a Catholic house hold and her parents proudly provided her with 12 years of a Catholic school education.
Margie is survived by the BEST dad in the World - William E. Wood of Bristol Pa. The love her life for 17 years Dennis Bridge. Her children Mark T. Stanton (Brandi), Mariah Stanton, her Fiancé Robert Ulrich and Jennifer Grimm (Jonathan) all of Louisa County. She had the privilege, joy and honor of being Mom Mom (grandmother) to the absolute most perfect grandchildren, Connor and Garrett Stanton, the most handsome boys in the world. Daisey Grimm and Kennedy Astphan-Bridge, the most beautiful girls in the world. A sister Deborah Woodburn (Phil) and a brother William (Billy) Wood. One niece, three nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend Tina Moore and her daughter Sierra.
Margie is proceeded in death by her mother Elva Wood formally of Bristol Pa., her maternal and paternal grandparents, and the best friend she could have ever asked for Doris O’Connell.
Margie was a lifelong Catholic and a member of Saint Jude’s Catholic Church in Mineral, Virginia. Margie has requested a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial only at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday May 13, 2023at Saint Jude Catholic Church with Father Duffy officiating. Graveside to follow in the church cemetery.
