Margaret “Maggie” Seale, 60, affectionately known to others as Princess Maggie and Granny, passed away on September 19, 2022 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 8, 1961, to the late Marshal Long, Sr. and Nettie Long.
Maggie was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Barry Kevin Seale, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Barry Kevin Seale, Jr. and his wife Lora, a daughter Ashley Seale and her husband Steven Michalski. Four grandchildren, all of whom she adored, Emma Michalski, Lucas Michalski, Leylend Seale and Dalton Collins.
Maggie also leaves her Best Friend, Robin Hensley, who she loved so dearly.
She also had a special friendship with Julie Weaver, with whom she had caring and comforting conversations.
Maggie will always be remembered for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and her singing (if you know, you know). Maggie spent the past 7 years working at CloSure Title where she found her work family. She was the Office Mom to many and friend to all. She loved spending time with her family and friends, where there was always laugher. Spending time with her family during the holidays was most special to her.
Maggie made an everyday visit to Starbucks for Iced Vanilla Latte with Whip and Caramel Drizzle which was her special treat. Living the “simple life” made her happy. She never needed much more than her family and friends.
Give It To God was Maggie’s theme and she would want everyone to embrace that in their lives, as well.
The family would like to thank CloSure Title and Keller Williams Alliance for their support for Maggie and her family throughout her battle. Their care and generosity will always be remembered.
The family would also like to thank the Madison County Rescue Squad and Hospice of the Piedmont for their loving care of Maggie. Also, Pastor Greg Payne of the Nortonsville Church of God for his many visits and prayers with Maggie.
Per the Princess’ request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of her to the Madison County Department of EMS, PO Box 705, Madison, Va. 22727 OR to the Hospice of the Piedmont 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
