Jackie Lee Turley, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Autumn Care in Madison, Va. He was born in Georgetown, D. C. on March 13, 1946 to the late Dolly Mildred Sisk Turley and Robert Lee Turley. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jackie Lee Willingham; and wife Bonnie Thomas.
Jackie lived in Northern Virginia and was a sought-after tree groundman.
He enjoyed his later life in Rappahannock County, Va. He had a passion for old cars, was a great mechanic, playing the guitar and great love for his family.
He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Bennett ( Kenny) of Warrenton, Patricia Frame of Falls Church, Diana Weakley of Sperryville, and Mary Turley Weakley of Madison; numerous nieces and nephews; and mother of his deceased son, Lucille Willingham.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with Pastor Dan Yowell officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper, Va. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to his great nephew, Little Johnny Jenkins’ scholarship at Atlantic Bank in Washington, Va.
