Lyle Ray Settle                                            Marach 24, 2025

After a long, courageous and stoic battle with cancer, our journey ended on March 24, 2025 with Lyle’s passing. Lyle Ray Settle was born June 25, 1971 to Lawrence and Frances Settle.
Lyle married his high school sweetheart, Mandy (Amanda) Settle. Lyle and Mandy celebrated 34 years of marriage and have two amazing children, their daughter, Katie (Katherine) and their son, John.
The Settle family lives on the family farm, The Winks Place, where Lyle built Mandy her dream home. Lyle enjoyed raising cattle, fishing in the pond and simple country life.
Lyle began his building career with the family home and ended with custom kitchen and bathroom remodels. He had an eye for function and beauty that meant many years of very satisfied customers.
Lyle was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Settle; sister, Connie Johnson; and mother-in-Law, Norma Jean Haislip.
Surviving Lyle is his wife, Mandy; daughter, Katie; and son, John. He is also survived by his mother, Frances Settle; brother, Carlton Johnson, Jr.; sister, Laura Settle; father-in-law, Allen Haislip and wife, Irene; sister-in-law, Amy Haislip; brother-in-law, Shannon and wife, Heather; brother-in-law, Cheynne and wife, Courtney. Numerous nieces and nephews that Uncle Lyle loved and who enjoyed his gentle teasing and sharp wit. There are plenty of cousins who enjoyed his infectious smile and mischievous antics.
