Lorene Frances Hickman, 90, of Orange passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, in Orange. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard McDaniel, mother, Vergie Shifflett McDaniel, her husband, Paul William Hickman, and sisters, Ritha Davis and Geneva Lawson.

Mrs. Hickman is survived by her daughters, Janet Hickman Morris, of Richmond, Lora Hickman Dotson and husband Kenny, of Locust Grove, two sons, Wayne Hickman, of Culpeper, Randy Hickman and wife Janet, of Williamsburg, a sister, Maryanna Lawson, of Dyke, and her grandchildren, Roxanne Hickman, of Gordonsville, Monica Hott, of Stephens City, Va., Joshua Dotson, of Richmond, Brittany Hickman, of Culpeper, Jeannie Hickman, of Williamsburg, Michael Smith, of Richmond, Brooke Musick, of Rhoadesville, Austin Hickman, of Culpeper, and Hunter Hickman, of Williamsburg, and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Holly Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Home in Orange.
