Lawrence (Bucky) Dwayne Gibson 51, of Orange Virginia, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Bucky regularly attended several Churches throughout his life to include Daystar Worship Center in Gordonsville Virginia until he was no longer able to due to health reasons. He was a loving and loyal son who enjoyed spending time with family. He also enjoyed building model cars, doing needle point, thread craft and bead work. Additionally, Bucky diligently took care of the physical needs of his mother Jean.

Bucky was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Michael Gibson and his uncle Donald Edward Gibson.

Bucky is survived by his mother Jean Harper Gibson of Orange Virginia; sister Renee B Hardy of Palm Springs Florida; uncle Steve Allen Gibson of Orange Virginia; aunt Nancy Snow and Husband Wayne of Lake Anna Virginia; aunt Alice Heinburg of Charlottesville Virginia; aunt Ann Jenkins of Lynchburg Virginia; and many wonderful cousins who he adored.

A public memorial service will be held at Daystar Worship Center in Gordonsville Virginia on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00am with Pastor David Akers officiating.
