Keisha Deanean Jackson departed this life on August 7, 2024.



 She was born on October 20, 1976 to Catherine Jackson and the late Chester Lee Jackson. Keisha was preceded in death by her father, Chester; maternal Grandparents, Cornelius “Nehi” & Bertha Mae Houchens; paternal grandparents, Andrew & Lorraine Jackson, other close family members, and a very special cousin, Christopher Jackson.


She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Yasmine Winston & Allyssa Booker, her mother, Catherine Jackson; Brother, Ricky Houchens, 3 nephews: Jeremy, Justin (Sarah) & Jayden; a great-niece, Kaya. She also leaves 12 Aunts: Denise “Ada”, Alice & Christine Houchens; Gladys Wooden; Claudia (Marshall) Payne; Anna (Charles) & Sally (Percell) Waller; Josie (Frank) Riley; Florine, Felisha & Geraldine Jackson; devoted aunt Joyce (Lonnie) Holloway; 9 uncles: Ronald Geraldine) & Wendell Jackson; Franklin Houchens; Herman (Gladys), Peter , Warren (Loretta), Richard Jr., Charles Sr., Clifton (Gladys) Coles; 6 godchildren & “Grandpuppy” Remi. Keisha also leaves to cherish her memory a devoted cousin & friend, Stephanie (WC) Saunders, Her “Best Buddy” Harmony (Sam) & "Little Best Buddy", Kinsley Grant; devoted friend, Pattie Butler, plus a host of other relatives and friends.


Her service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
