Joshua Hugh Woodward, 39 of Madison, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in Davidsonville, Maryland. He was born November 7, 1983 in Charlottesville. He was the son of the late Hugh Ross Woodward, maternal grandparents, Jessie and Sallie Dobyns and paternal grandparents, Andrew and Susie Woodward.

He is survived by his mother, Diane Marie Woodward of Stanardsville; daughter, Shianne M. Woodward and son, Joshua Woodward Jr. both of Culpeper; brother, Travis W. Woodward of Stanardsville, half bother, Tommy Woodward and wife Donna of Madison; half sisters, Jamie Foster of Charlottesvile, Linda Mitchell of Lynchburg Serileen Hubband of Ruckersville; special friend Pamela McCloud of Culpeper, special aunt and uncle Penny Gimm and Roger Dobyns of Madison.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 PM Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Preddy Funeral in Madison with family visitation from 6 to 7:30 Thursday evening at the funeral home. Past Josh Shifflett will officiate.
