Born on July 2, 1969, he was the son of the late Howard E. “Gene” Huskey and Virginia Joyce “Joy” Huskey. 

Jeff was a graduate of Orange County High School class of ’87.

A beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Jeff will be remembered for his infectious laugh, quick wit, and being a genuine good guy. He took great pride in making sure his family members and friends were taken care, happy and safe. An avid fisherman, Jeff would be found fishing at any chance he got.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Jennifer Huskey; their son, James Huskey; his sister, Gina Steigler and her husband Steve; his nieces & nephews, Katie Graves, Kristen Graves, Gracie Steigler, Stella Steigler, and Steven Steigler; and his great-nephew, Calloway.

A celebration of life will be held at Blue Ridge Shores Community Center on Saturday June 7, 2025 from 4-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
