Selena Artina Hamlin, 70, of Gobblers Knob Lane, Orange, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at her residence. She was born on April 8, 1952 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late George L. Dade and Marie Carter Dade. 

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Hamlin of Orange; three daughters Illia Greene of Orange, Lucinda Hamlin of Hyattsville, Md. and Kanika Willis of Washington, D. C.; two sons Marcus Greene and wife Kimberly of Orange, and Jeffrey Willis and wife Misty of Orange; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a brother Thomas Dade of Orange; and two sisters Antherine Hopkins and husband William of Orange, and Margo Lewis and husband Sammy of Orange.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at the Little Zion Baptist Church in Orange, Pastor John Reid and Marvin Trice will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery, Orange. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
