James Robert Gallihugh            June 16, 2023

James Robert “Jimmy” Gallihugh, 76, of Monrovia Road, died at his residence on Friday, June 16, 2023. Jimmy was born on March 19, 1947, in Charlottesville, Va., and was the son of the late James Lee Gallihugh and Hazel McDowell Gallihugh Bostic. Jimmy is also predeceased by a sister Sharon McCleod; a brother Howard McDowell, and a nephew Kris Kershner.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Marlene Gallihugh; a son Jamie Gallihugh; a grandson Jamerson Gallihugh; a great-granddaughter Avery Gallihugh; a sister Nancy G. Embree; two nieces Pam Roberson, and Beth Kershner Meeks; and three nephews K. B. Kershner, Rusty Branham, and Stoney Branham; Joey and Kellie Hensley, and Dawn Cooper are considered family also.

Jimmy owned and operated Jim’s Electrical and Plumbing.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
