Hamilton McCarthy Dean, II, 45 of Orange, Va., passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, Va. He was born on July 12, 1977 to the late Raymond Hamilton Dean and Dena Lee Willcox. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Sherrie Dean and sister-in-law, Lindsey Dean.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Dawn Hurt Dean; daughters, Leslie-Auna Dean and Cynthia Perreault, both of Orange; sons, Billy Dean of Madison and Zachary Dean of Orange; brothers, Adam Dean of Brandy Station; sisters, Betsy Seawell and friend, Kerry Landherr of Nags Head, N.C. and Tiffany Bonesteel of Mechanicsville, Va.; nieces, Elsie Seawell and Dorian Barranti.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with Pastor David Akers officiating. Interment will be in Etlan Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
