George William “G” Plumb Jr., 35, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday July 13,2021 at his residence. He was born on February 18, 1986 in Charlottesville, and was a son of George W. Plumb Sr., and Jane Argabright Plumb. He was a Volunteer at the Dogwood Village of Orange, and also previously was employed at Faulconer Hardware.

“G” is survived by a brother, Ben Plumb, his paternal grandmother, Shirley King, uncles, John and Pug Plumb, a cousin, Jake Plumb, numerous other cousins, and a special friend, Conway Faulconer.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange with Brenda Hutchinson officiating. Interment will follow in Graham Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
