Elwood Polk Boykin, 60, of Lovingston, died Friday November 18, 2022 at the University of Virginia Hospital. Born April 3, 1962 in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Glenwood Jackson Boykin and Myrtle Lee Butler Boykin. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Homer Eugene Boykin.

Mr. Boykin is survived by a daughter, Ginny Ann Boykin Hoover and husband Wade of Scottsville, a son, Jacob Boykin of Gordonsville, a sister, Gwendolyn Boykin Pitt and husband Bert of North Carolina , brother, Glen Boykin and wife Lynda of Greenville, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday December 12, 2022 at Alberene Cemetery, 5759 Alberene Road, Esmont, VA.
