Earl Lee Blankenship, 64, of Old Gordonsville Road, Orange died on Sunday, September 5, 2021. Earl was born on March 29, 1957 in Charlottesville and was the son of the late Charles Blankenship and Ada Blakley Blankenship.

Earl is survived by his wife Judith Clatterbuck Blankenship of Orange; two daughters Lisa Blankenship and Cheyenne Hale of Orange, and Samantha Blankenship and Fred Kirschnick of Lake Monticello; seven grandchildren Brianne Raines and Dustin Shifflett, Hayden Hale, Lexi Hale, Prezley Hale, Haley Lucas, Ryleigh Blankenship, and Adaliene Blankenship; one brother Charles Lee Blankenship and Leslie Poston of Madison; two sisters Carolyn Lamb and husband Donnie of Orange, and Terri Putnam of Orange; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 1:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with Rev. Dwane Pugh officiating. Interment will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery, Unionville. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
