Bobby Rogers Knighting, 76, of Banco, Va., passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 7, 1945 to the late Wilmer Lee Knighting and Nina Thelma Shifflett Knighting. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Homer Lewis Knighting and Wilmer Lee Knighting, Jr.

He retired from the Federal Reserve in Culpeper and later retired from the Madison County School System. He was a member of Sunnybrook Gospel Church and a U. S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Leathers Knighting; two daughters, Tammy Renee Knighting Clatterbuck and husband Rodney and Regina Kay Knighting Baker and husband Royce; son, Bradley Ray Knighting and wife Jennifer; brother, Lee Roy Knighting and wife Grace; sister, Sylvia Knighting Utz; grandchildren, Cynthia Page, Liza Clatterbuck, Victoria Clatterbuck, Jack Knighting, Ben Knighting, Damon Baker, Savannah Baker, Kayla Baker, and Aleah Baker; great-grandchildren, Luke Snellings and Ruth Page.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Criglersville Cemetery with Bud Alger officiating.
