David Bruce Sprouse 58 of Gordonsville passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1965 in Charlottesville to the late August Lee Sprouse Jr. and Evelyn Lucille Sparks Sprouse. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda L. Spain.

He is survived by his wife, Catherina Rogoll Sprouse, daughters, Rebekah Kelsie Souther and wife Ashley of Chesapeake, Emily G. Sprouse of Louisa; son, David James Sprouse of Madison Run; brother Roger Lee Sprouse and wife Zee of Louisa; sisters, Sandra S. Atkins and husband Dwight of Gordonsville; grandchildren, Reese Souther and Bodhi Souther both of Chesapeake and Blair Stanley of Louisa.

Upon his request a private interment will be at a later date.



Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville is assisting the family.
