Amy Keyseear McDowell 53 of Amhurst passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 in Lynchburg. She was born March 9, 1970 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late William Raymond Keyseear and Irene Mae Miller Keyseear.

Amy was a U.S. Marine veteran and a Wells Fargo Advisory Employee in Charlottesville, VA.

She is survived by her husband, Trace McDowell of Amhurst; son, Zacharie Todd Brown and wife Vanessa of Baloejo, CA; sisters, Wanda Keyseear Osborne and husband Mark of Valrico, FL, Cynthia Keyseear Olinger of Ruckersville, Paige Keyseear Herndon of Barboursville, Sharon Keyseear Deane and husband Randy of Franklinton, NC, Melinda Kayseear Weakley of Linden, VA; and a grandson, Tristan Cole Brown.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, VA.

Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville is assisting the family.
